Falconry Days
Enjoy a one, two or three day hawking experience, in the scenic Yorkshire countryside. History abounds, from the hawking grounds.
During the hawking days you will be encouraged to handle and fly the hawks. Lessons will be given beforehand. Harris Hawks are the preferred bird on hawking days but at an extra cost you might like to arrange to fly Goshawks.
Transport is provided from The Harrogate Arms to hawking ground and can also be arranged from local railway stations and airport.

Two-day luxury hawking break.
You will be shown to your hotel in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, where you will be given an introductory talk on hawking, and local places of interest. All accommodation, food, transport and falconry furniture are part of this package. This break can be tailored to your exact requirements. We guarantee an unforgettable two days,
with fine hawking and great company. ( I mean the ferrets )
Three day hawking break
As above but an extra night at The Harrogate Arms and one extra days hawking.
One day hawking trip.
An inexpensive, but interesting day for those who wish to experience flying birds at quarry. Dogs or ferrets will be used to assist the falconer in finding quarry, mainly rabbits. Warm country clothing and a packed lunch will be needed.
You will be met at a pre-arranged venue close to our hawking ground.

Once you have completed a one-day course, you then have the opportunity to partake in hunting day's out . This can be done as part of a two or more day course, or at a later date. We hunt a range of birds, Harris Hawks, Red Tailed Hawks, Goshawks and Falcons. This is a good walk in the country and is not for the faint hearted .From there the options are unlimited treasure the one day experience or expand your knowledge to own and fly your own bird many of our students have done just that .Whatever you choose I am sure you will have an unforgettable day
